Taupo's home of superb locally-crafted beer and awesome food in a lodge-style setting makes the Crafty Trout a must-visit while in Taupo.

Dine inside (grab a table by the open fire) or al fresco with views over the domain - the schnitzels and pizzas are brilliant but their menu also includes burgers, salads and fresh fish. Don't leave without trying something from the dessert range!
